We have made the decision to discontinue our existing toll free phone number as it was being absolutely blasted with "telephone solicitation calls" to the point, we had no other option than to close it. Why do Meeting Planners Have to Register, Even if it is for FREE
There are two very good reasons why we have opted to have Meeting Planners register.
The first reason is to help to protect Meeting Planners and others from email abuse. Our goal is to provide as much information as we can for both Speakers and Meeting Planners, as safely and securely as possible.

The second reason for having Meeting Planners register is to be able to provide them with the unique ability to submit a request for a special speaker, without having to compromise their identities publicly.

What is the Speaker Request Form
This website has the unique ability to allow registered Meeting Planners to submit a request for a speaker that is not otherwise available. Meeting Planners who have browsed through the Speakers List and cannot find a suitable speaker can fill our the Speaker Request Form which will then have limited details published on the front page of the web site. The detailed information will only be available to be read by registered Speakers. If a registered Speaker believes they are qualified for the requirements request, they will have the ability to contact the Meeting Planner through the Private Messaging system of the website.

What Is the Private Messaging system
The Private Messaging system (PM) is a built in communications component of the web site that allows members (Speakers and Meeting Planners) to send notes back and forth to one another.
When a PM is sent from one person to another, the person receiving the PM will receive an email telling them that a PM has been submitted and that they will need to go to www.locatespeakers.com and log into the site in order to see their message, or to send a message to another member.

Who Are the Registered Speakers
The speakers represented through this website vary widely in their kinds of knowledge and experience. Some are novice speakers while others are professional speakers, and will charge accordingly for their services.

We are confident that even the novice speakers are VERY GOOD at their craft, knowledgeable about their topics and passionate about what they present. Most speakers are Professionals in some aspect of their life or career and have chosen to speak about their experiences and knowledge.

 

If I Register, does it last forever?

Meeting Planners registration is for one year only. At the end of that period Meeting Planners can choose to renew their membership with the website or allow it to lapse. The reason for this is that there are many Meeting Planners who work in one year projects and do not have a need to renew after that time.

 

Meeting Planners who require speakers on a year to year basis, can re-register (for free) when their membership expires.
